Chief Executive Officer
Peter Kuciak

Peter Kuciak is the Chief Executive Officer of Teldio, where he leads the company’s vision to connect and integrate physical security, critical communications, and operational technology for enterprises worldwide. A serial entrepreneur and technology executive with over 30 years of experience, Peter brings a rare combination of startup tenacity, product depth, and global go-to-market leadership to Teldio.
Peter began his career at Tydac Technologies before spending five formative years at Newbridge Networks — the legendary Ottawa networking giant acquired by Alcatel. He went on to hold management roles at Watchfire (acquired by IBM) before spending 6.5 years at Ubiquity Software, rising through Director roles in Software Development, Product Management, Business Development, and Professional Services — a company later acquired by Avaya. He subsequently served as VP of Research and Development at March Networks and Global Vice President of Applications and Solutions at Dialogic.
A proven founder, Peter co-founded Headwall Software, which was acquired by BackOffice Associates, and later founded Stoke Mobile — acquired by Teldio in 2020, which catalyzed his appointment as CEO. He also serves as President and CEO of Encore Networks, a global provider of 5G and LTE wireless solutions. Peter holds a degree in Computer Science from Carleton University.
Chief Technology and Product Officer
Shawn OReilly

Shawn OReilly serves as Teldio’s Chief Technology and Product Officer, where he leads product and technology strategy in close collaboration with the CEO and Board of Directors. He brings over 20 years of experience spanning enterprise architecture, cloud solutions, contact center technology, and customer success.
Prior to joining Teldio, Shawn spent more than five years at Amazon Web Services, where he led Provincial & Municipal Government sales across Canada, consistently exceeding quota and driving cloud adoption across the public sector. Before AWS, he was VP of Customer Success at Pindrop, a leading AI-based contact center security company, and spent over 12 years at Avaya in senior global roles including Senior Director of Worldwide Quality and North American Theater Lead for Solution Architecture. He holds credentials from Algonquin College.
Chief Financial Officer
Leo Kuyumciyan

Leo Kuyumciyan serves as Chief Financial Officer at Teldio, overseeing financial strategy, reporting, and operations. He brings extensive international finance experience spanning technology startups, private equity-backed companies, and institutional funds.
Leo began his career at Baker Tilly leading due diligence, IPO audits, and risk assessments across Technology, Retail, and Healthcare sectors. He later held senior finance and COO roles at Millimetric.ai and Abraaj-backed Yörsan Dairy, and served as Financial Controlling Manager at Cardtek, a payments technology company. He is also a Partner at Phellos Financial Consultancy, delivering financial operations solutions to high-growth companies and funds globally. Leo holds a BA in Economics and Finance from the University of Virginia.

Brennan Turner

Brennan Turner brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial grit, high-performance discipline, and enterprise sales leadership to Teldio.
Before joining as VP Sales and Partnerships, Brennan founded FarmLead — twice named to Forbes’ list of most innovative companies in agriculture — and Combyne Ag, which was acquired by Bayer Crop Science. He also spent over three years as Sales Manager at Solink, a video security SaaS company. Earlier, Brennan played 250+ professional hockey games across the NHL, AHL, ECHL, and Europe after being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks. He holds a degree from Yale University and is a member of 2018 Henry Crown Fellowship, part of the Aspen Inst.

Dave Chapman

David Chapman leads research and development at Teldio, where he has been a driving force behind the company’s software products since 2013.
With deep expertise in web application architecture, full-stack development, and agile methodologies, David oversees Teldio’s development initiatives across its critical communications, fleet tracking, alarm management, and lone worker monitoring solutions. David holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tyndale University.
Head of Customer Success
Craig Cargill

Craig Cargill serves as Head of Customer Success at Teldio, where he leads the Solution Engineering team and oversees the full customer lifecycle — from pre-sales discovery through to long-term post-sales success.
Since joining Teldio in 2022, Craig has progressed from the Solutions Engineering team to his current leadership role, building deep expertise in Teldio’s technology stack and the industries it serves. Prior to Teldio, Craig’s career spanned both Apple and Intel in the United Kingdom. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Terry Matthews

Terry Matthews is the founder and Chairman of Wesley Clover International, a private, global investment management firm and holding company.
Since 1972, Terry has founded or funded more than 100 companies. Early data networking giant Newbridge Networks and current business communications leader Mitel are highlights.
Today, Wesley Clover has active interests in a range of innovative cloud and SaaS technology companies, as well as in selected commercial and leisure real estate.
Terry holds an Honours degree in electronics from the University of Wales and is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Royal Academy of Engineering. In 1994, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), and in 2001, the Queen made him a Knight Bachelor. In 2017, Terry was also appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Paul Chiarelli

Paul’s responsibilities at Wesley Clover include oversight of all aspects of accounting, financing, and regulatory compliance for the company, as well as for many of the technology, real estate, and leisure companies in the portfolio. He brings much of this same expertise to the Alacrity Global initiative.
Prior to Wesley Clover, Paul was Director of Finance at Wesley Clover-backed Tundra Semiconductor Corporation, and before that, he worked for Deloitte, where he focused on technology sector clients and provided advice on mergers and acquisitions as well as other financial transactions. Paul has more than 25 years of experience assisting start-ups through to international telecom and software companies.

Ian Mclaren

Ian McLaren is a seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of experience in senior and executive management roles across the global high-tech sector. Based in Ottawa, Ian brings to Teldio’s Board of Directors a distinguished track record of scaling large technology organizations, driving international growth, and providing strategic guidance to companies navigating complex and fast-moving markets.
Ian began his career following his graduation from Queen’s University, joining Digital Equipment of Canada where he rose to Group Vice President of the Finance, Professional and Public Administration Sector. He then joined SHL Systemhouse in 1994 as Executive Vice President and General Manager of its Ottawa Region before ascending to the role of President of MCI Systemhouse, overseeing Canada, UK, and International Operations. In that capacity, Ian led a team of more than 5,000 sales, marketing, and software professionals, delivering revenues in excess of $1 billion in fiscal 1997 — with Canadian operations growing sales at twice the market rate. His most recent corporate leadership role saw him expand his remit to over 10,000 development professionals engaged on projects across the globe.
Ian subsequently served as President and CEO of CrossKeys Systems Corporation, where he brought market-focused leadership to the company’s Network Performance Management solutions, and later as CEO of Ubiquity Software. Across these roles, he developed deep expertise in unified communications, network management, and enterprise software — domains that closely parallel the critical communications and integration technologies that Teldio delivers to its enterprise customers worldwide.
Ian continues to serve on the Board of Directors of several technology companies and is an active advisor to many others in the sector. An avid golfer and skier, he resides with his family in Ottawa.

Michael Martin
President – Motorola Solutions Canada Inc.

Michael is the President of Motorola Solutions Canada with over 40 years of experience working as a technology business leader and board member in the fields of mission-critical communications, IT solutions, cyber security, artificial intelligence, mobile and fixed video deployments, and complex application development. Michael is truly passionate about leading and developing teams who support public safety agencies to deliver on their mandates of community safety and well-being for Canadians. Before joining Motorola Solutions, Michael held senior leadership roles with Telesat Canada, TELUS, and Accenture.
Hamish Dobson

Hamish Dobson is a technology product executive with a distinguished 25-year history in leading and scaling high-growth technology ventures, specializing in video systems, security technology, optical networking, and semiconductors.
For 5 years as Vice President of Product at Motorola Solutions, Mr. Dobson served as the business unit lead for global video security solutions, helping scale the division to over $1 billion in annual revenue. His responsibilities included executing an aggressive organic and inorganic growth strategy, which involved the successful acquisition and integration of seven adjacent product companies. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Dobson was Senior Director of Product Management at Avigilon, where he led its transition from an emergent disruptor to a top-three player in the North American video security market, culminating in its $1 billion acquisition by Motorola Solutions in 2018. Earlier in his career, as Director of Product Management at PMC-Sierra (now Microchip), he was responsible for developing rigorous business cases, securing over $200 million in R&D expenditure for industry-leading optical transport processors, key components supporting the exponential growth of internet infrastructure.
Mr Dobson’s background provides a strong blend of product management excellence, strategic M&A integration, and scaling product organizations.
John Rosati
Vice President, Enterprise Sales MCA

John Rosati is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of progressive experience driving revenue growth, channel strategy, and go-to-market execution across the critical communications, public safety, and enterprise technology sectors.
Since November 2025, John has served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Mobile Communications America (MCA), one of the largest Motorola Solutions channel partners in North America. In this role, he leads enterprise sales strategy and execution across MCA’s broad portfolio of communications and security solutions — bringing the same commercial intensity and market expertise that have defined his career to one of the industry’s most prominent channel organizations.
Prior to MCA, John spent several years at Motorola Solutions as Vice President, North America Channels & Distribution, where he oversaw the management and growth of Motorola’s reseller and distributor network across the continent. He simultaneously led the global go-to-market strategy for Avtec, LLC, an industry-leading voice dispatch communications company acquired by Motorola in 2019 — a business he had previously helped build as its Senior Vice President of Sales.
Before Motorola Solutions, John served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Communications International Inc. (CII), where he established a professional sales function that enabled the company to expand beyond its regional roots, enter international markets, and capture large-scale government contracts across the United States. Earlier, he spent 11 years at Harris Corporation as Region Manager of Sales, cultivating state and local government utility contracts across the Midwest. He launched his career in sales and market development roles at Motorola and Apple.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
As a member of Teldio’s Board of Advisors, John brings unmatched perspective on the Motorola Solutions partner ecosystem — having operated at the highest levels on both the vendor and channel sides of the critical communications industry. His deep relationships, go-to-market expertise, and track record of scaling complex sales organizations make him a strategic asset as Teldio continues to expand its enterprise footprint across North America and beyond.
Tim Duckworth
President - Opt-in Wireless

Tim Duckworth is a marketing entrepreneur and industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience at the intersection of sales, marketing, and critical communications technology. As the founder and President of Opt-in Wireless — the largest marketing agency exclusively serving the LMR, DAS, Video Surveillance, and Vehicle Upfitting industries — Tim brings a uniquely specialized perspective to Teldio’s Board of Advisors.
Since founding Opt-in Wireless in 2003, Tim has built the agency into the go-to marketing partner for Motorola Solutions channel partners and technology providers across North America. The agency is recognized as a Motorola Preferred Marketing partner — a distinction backed by Tim’s own history as a former Motorola channel partner owner, a seven-time Pinnacle Club winner, and a veteran Motorola marketing vendor. Opt-in Wireless delivers full-service marketing solutions including brand development, digital marketing, website design, email marketing, trade show solutions, and SEO — all purpose-built for the unique dynamics of the LMR and security channel ecosystem.
Tim’s career in the communications industry spans every angle of the market. He began as Vice President at Creative Communications before founding Specialized Communication Consultants, Inc. in 1990, where he served as President. He then moved into Sales and Marketing at Questar Telecom/Nextel, gaining deep carrier-side experience, before joining Creative Communications, Inc. as Director of Sales and Marketing — a role he held for nearly eight years before launching Opt-in Wireless.
This breadth of experience — from dealer operations to carrier sales to running a Motorola dealership to leading a channel-focused marketing agency — gives Tim an unmatched understanding of how technology partners like Teldio can differentiate their brand and drive meaningful growth within the Motorola Solutions ecosystem.

Paul Halianty

Paul Halinaty is a seasoned technology executive, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor whose career spans more than four decades at the forefront of critical communications, public safety technology, and engineering leadership. His most defining achievement was building Futurecom Systems Group from the ground up into an indispensable partner for public safety agencies worldwide — and ultimately leading the company through its acquisition by Motorola Solutions in 2022.
As President and CEO of Futurecom for nearly nine years, Paul guided the Ontario-based company to become the exclusive provider of in-vehicle, fixed, and portable RF repeaters and extenders for Motorola Solutions’ ASTRO P25 radio networks. Under his leadership, Futurecom’s products became mission-critical lifelines for over 800 public safety agencies globally, extending LMR radio coverage to first responders operating in remote and challenging environments. The Motorola Solutions acquisition was a direct validation of the company’s strategic value and the depth of a partnership built over 30 years of collaboration.
Following the acquisition, Paul served briefly as General Manager of Futurecom within Motorola Solutions before transitioning into advisory and consulting work. He now operates Paul Halinaty Consulting and serves as an Advisory Partner with LEAP Strategy Partners, where he works alongside current CEOs to help them navigate the high-stakes strategic decisions that shape their organizations.
Paul’s roots are deeply technical. He launched his career as a Research Assistant in nuclear physics at Queen’s University, then as a Reactor Safety and Control Engineer at Atomic Energy of Canada, before spending five years as a Senior Software Analyst at Alcatel Canada. He then joined Motorola Canada, where he spent 18 years in progressively senior roles — culminating as Senior Resource Manager for Networks and Enterprise — before channeling that institutional knowledge into building Futurecom.
Paul holds a BSc in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University and completed the Strategic Leadership Program at Queen’s School of Business. He also served on the Dean of Engineering’s Advisory Board at McMaster University.
As a member of Teldio’s Board of Advisors, Paul brings a rare combination of deep engineering credibility, CEO experience, and firsthand knowledge of the Motorola Solutions ecosystem — making him an exceptional strategic voice as Teldio continues to innovate within the critical communications and public safety space.
Stephen O'Keefe
President, Bottom Line Matters

Stephen O’Keefe is one of Canada’s foremost authorities on retail loss prevention, physical security, and risk management, bringing more than 40 years of hands-on industry experience to his role as a Teldio advisor. He is the Founder and President of Bottom Line Matters, an independent advisory firm he established in 2012 after a distinguished corporate career with some of the most recognized retail brands in North America.
Stephen is a 30-year veteran of the retail industry, having worked with major brands including Sears, Hudson’s Bay Company, and Walmart, where he served as Vice President of Loss Prevention and Risk Management. Retail Insider His nearly 16 years at Walmart saw him take on enterprise-wide responsibility spanning corporate security, executive protection, health and safety, food safety, regulatory compliance, risk finance, claims management, product safety, business continuity, and corporate aviation. He was also a member of Walmart’s Global Virtual Resource Team, contributing to mergers and acquisitions activity across Japan, Russia, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, and France — giving him a rare international dimension few loss prevention executives can claim.
Prior to Walmart, Stephen spent 11 years at Hudson’s Bay Company as National Asset Protection Manager, overseeing loss prevention operations across Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto, and the Zellers national banner.
Since founding Bottom Line Matters, Stephen has built an exclusive consulting practice helping clients realize immediate, measurable profitability improvements through risk assessment, gap analysis, and process improvement. Don Smith

Don Smith is a veteran technology executive with more than 40 years of experience in the global communications industry, best known for his nearly decade-long tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Mitel Networks — where he led one of the most consequential business transformations in Canadian telecom history.
Smith joined Mitel in April 2001 as CEO and board member, tasked with advancing Mitel’s leadership in the unified communications market and overseeing its global operations. GlobeNewswire Over the next ten years, he navigated the company through a complete reinvention: transitioning from a legacy TDM hardware manufacturer to a software-based IP communications and unified collaboration solutions company, executing the landmark acquisition of Inter-Tel, and ultimately taking Mitel public on Nasdaq in 2010. His leadership earned him the Ottawa Business Journal’s CEO of the Year Award in 2010.
Don’s path to Mitel was shaped by a career defined by entrepreneurship and serial success in communications technology. He began at the original Mitel Corporation in 1979, rising to Executive Vice President by 1981 with global responsibility for sales and marketing. He then became President of AIT Corporation, successfully taking it public in 1993. In 1996, he founded Cambrian Systems Corporation, which was acquired by Nortel Networks in December 1998 for $300 million. Topi Network At Nortel, he served as VP and General Manager of OPTera Solutions before being promoted to President of Optical Internet — one of the most high-profile roles in global telecoms at the time.
Following his retirement from Mitel in 2011, Don transitioned to a board advisor role, lending his expertise to technology companies including Benbria, part of the Wesley Clover International ecosystem of companies — the same investor network that backs Teldio.
