Teldio is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our two­way radio apps development team. We need someone who can step up and help grow our product offerings! It’s a very exciting time at Teldio and we’re looking for the ideal candidate that has both the skills and energy to succeed in a fast-paced tech company. Technical adeptness, strong communication skills, and an enthusiastic, problem-solving attitude are an absolute must.

Duties & Responsibilities

Teldio is seeking a skilled and energetic engineer to join our radios apps development team.

General tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Manage build and deployment servers for Teldio’s applications
  • Testing and overall quality assurance of developed products
  • Assist in developing key R&D projects supporting business goals
  • Support IT needs of company as needed (Web Servers, Storage, Code Repositories)
  • Provide support to Operations / Field Support team as needed from time to time
  • Technical writing and documentation as needed
  • Other tasks within the company as needed

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years as Software Engineer / Developer
  • Experience with build servers such as Jenkins
  • Knowledge of the repositories SVN, Git
  • Understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle (e.g. requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation)
  • Experience programming in C, C++, C#, Java and Web Development (Ruby on Rails).
  • Deep understanding of OSI Model, embedded systems, application servers
  • Understanding of OSI Model, embedded systems, application servers
  • IT literate with a working knowledge of LAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, VoIP, SIP, PBX and Serial
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand, analyze and troubleshoot problems
  • Excellent communication skills: written & oral to be able to communicate
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum process is desirable
  • Absorb a variety of knowledge and apply to challenges and opportunities as required
  • Advanced knowledge/experience working with Microsoft operating systems
  • Knowledge of RF industry / two-way radios is beneficial
