Webinar: Manufacturing Solutions
Here is the recording of our latest webinar focused on Teldio applications within the manufacturing industry.
The webinar covers an overview of Teldio applications which help increase employee safety and reduce downtime within the manufacturing industry.
We begin with a brief overview of Teldio, including who we are, and the applications we offer. We then begin highlighting the main applications for manufacturing, which includes ACS, RBX, CLW, and MDN. ACS helps increase productivity and minimize downtime, RBX ensures staff are connected and CLW and MDN help to increase worker safety.
The webinar then dives into each highlighted application individually, starting with ACS. Alarm Control System (ACS) to automatically dispatch messages to the right users, at the right time to reduce response times and increase productivity. You can also combine ACS with Teldio Smart Tickets to Improve workplace efficiency and accountability. We end of the ACS section with two real-world use cases, including a fire alarm and a refrigeration unit going out of spec.
We then move onto RBX which is an advanced telephone interconnect to allow radio users to make and receive phone calls directly on their radios. We explore the three RBX call types, including private calls, talkgroups, and callgroups which allow users to make calls to different types of users and groups. This section ends with a use case where a driver is trying to reach his supervisor to immediately report an accident.
We finish off with CLW and MDN which help manufacturers stay in compliance with federal regulations by monitoring remote workers. Centralized Lone Worker (CLW) periodically pings workers to verify their well-being. If a worker fails to respond to an ‘alive check’ within the allocated time frame, an emergency alarm is raised. Man Down Notifier (MDN) proactively monitors workers to identify if they have suffered a fall or accident by using the radio’s motion sensor to detect a lack of movement, horizontal tilt or both. This section ends with a use case regarding a manufacturing plant that runs 24/7 needs to monitor their lone workers on the
“skeleton” crew, as well as their security staff and how with MDN/CLW both can be monitored simultaneously.
We finished off the webinar with a live Q&A session and had a great turnout and want to thank everyone who attended! For those of you who couldn’t make, below is a recording of the webinar. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about TruFleet please contact our sales team today!
