Teldio Demos Latest Product Innovation at Hub350 Launch
Today marks the official launch of Hub350, Kanata North Business Association’s (KNBA) state-of-the-art technology centre that will serve as a gateway for member companies to industry, academia, and finance communities. Located in Canada’s largest technology park, Hub350 is a business and technology centre for collaboration, innovation, partnering, funding, and growth.
The new 5G Innovation Zone, launched by KNBA in partnership with TELUS and CENGN (Canada’s Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks), will play an integral role in driving collaboration and innovation. It provides innovators access to the surrounding technology ecosystem of more than 540 companies in the Kanata North Technology Park to identify and prove technology-driven solutions for existing and new opportunities.
“Hub350 is a great addition to the local tech park”, comments Peter Kuciak, President & CEO at Teldio.
We’re excited to be part of this initiative and look forward to many years of collaborative innovation.
Teldio is experiencing an increased pull from customers as organizations face pressure to connect disparate teams, improve worker safety, and optimize resource usage. The company helps address those challenges by tapping into the operational heartbeat of their customers to perceive, comprehend, and project events that drive effective decision making. This creates safer, more productive enterprise environments by bringing more situational awareness to workforces.
One such example is the monitoring of automated external defibrillator (AED) devices, a solution Teldio will demo live during Hub350’s launch celebrations. To assist with a cardiac arrest, the responder opening the AED cabinet door and/or removing the device triggers an event to the Teldio Edge Gateway, which then sends notifications to a central dashboard and personnel.
Teldio is aggressively expanding its capabilities to keep ahead of the trending areas of operational enhancements that customers are pursuing. The company is evolving their single-site gateway software to multi-site with remote management capabilities to equip their channel partners and end customers with the tools to streamline deployments and be proactive with their deployment health and evolving configurations.
Peter Kuciak concludes: “Having Hub350 right next door to our offices is a fantastic opportunity for Teldio to gain access, innovate, and collaborate with the latest 5G technologies. Our thanks to the KNBA, CENGN, TELUS as well as Wesley Clover and all other partners for teaming up to help start-ups, academic institutions, and technologists commercialize solutions using the latest network technology.”
