How to See the Location of Your Workers in Need
With the new integration between TruFleet and Teldio’s Lone Worker and Man Down, you are now able to see the locations of your employees whenever they raise a personal safety alarm. The alarms will also appear in TruFleet to ensure a timely response.
What Happens When an Alarm is Raised?
When a worker raises an alarm by pressing a button on a radio or an alarm is raised on their behalf via Lone Worker and Man Down the following items will occur:
- The worker’s location information (indoor or outdoor) will be sent with the alarm message via radio text, email, SMS or a number of other ways supported by Teldio’s Gateway Solutions.
- An alarm message will pop-up in the TruFleet application with the alarm type and the worker’s location information.
How it Works
The Teldio Gateway, which houses both Lone Worker and Man Down is connected to the TruFleet application via a switch. TruFleet is then connected to a repeater with the option to have Bluetooth and/or GPS on the associated radios. This allows the radios to relay the worker’s location when they raise an alarm by pressing a button on a radio or an alarm is raised on their behalf.
Note: Only one radio connection needed.
